Impact Project 2022
STEAM programme
Enriching ISB’s focus on our STEAM programme, funds were raised to add 3D printers to the student experience. A total of eight printers were added to the programme, and have been extensively used throughout Grade 1-10 and added greatly to the creativity in our classrooms.
ISBs Steam Coordinator, Lars Haugen Aardal, feels that the 3D printers allow for students to approach learning in new ways, especially through transdisciplinary projects and units.
“The printers, fundraised by our community, open up for students exploring approaches to learning through new perspectives. They invent shapes and items exactly how they envisioned them in their mind,” he says.
