The Board of Trustees invites applications for the post of Director of The International School of Bergen (ISB) for August 2024 or thereafter, following Viki Stiebert’s four years of exceptional service and appointment to UWC Maastricht as Head of College.

ISB was founded in 1975, and is a not-for-profit, co-educational day school with 245 students, from close to 50 nations, aged 1 to 16 years old. It delivers the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP).

The school provides an internationally accredited education (IB, NEASC and CIS) serving the growing international community in Bergen, a city on Norway’s southwestern coast, surrounded by mountains and fjords.

ISB is truly inclusive in its approach to a well-rounded education underpinned by inspirational teaching and learning, strong pastoral care, and an extensive co-curricular programme, enabling students to pursue their passions.

This post offers an exceptional opportunity for a candidate with a proven track record of successful leadership experience and a genuine commitment to the ethos and values of the school, coupled with the drive and expertise to lead the school into the next exciting phase of its development.
